The Many Captains of Star Trek

Hello guys, welcome to my first real post. Today I will be talking about the captains featured in Star Trek.

First up is the little known Christopher Pike. He was only in the two pilot episodes, and was not very popular. However, his character was facing a lot of stress so his role as captain was not really shown. His only real adventure was an attack on a Kalar fortress on Rigel VII.

Next up is his predecessor, Captain James Tiberius Kirk. Kirk was nothing like Pike. He didn’t have the calculating mind (or stress) but preferred to womanize, blow stuff up and rely on luck to see him through. Kirk is well known for his crew (Scotty, Chekov, Uhura etc.), his enemies (KHAAAN!) and the world’s hammiest acting.

That’s all today. Tomorrow,I will be talking about Picard and Sisko.

Hello. I am Ensign Kirk.

Hello everybody! I am new here to the world of blogging (and relatively new to this quadrant of the internet), so be nice.

Well, this post should be a brief introduction, so without further adieu, let’s get going. This blog will be about my number one passion, Star Trek. (Yes, I am a SERIOUS Trekkie.) I will be posting random stuff that should trigger discussion as “thought.” (Because despite what you think, the internet is capable of thinking once in a while.) These blogs will be very varied and not regular at all. Don’t except these daily, weekly, monthly or annually. They come when they come. Also, don’t except any sort of coherent order to these. Some will talk about the series’s, the films, the books, merchandise, the games, rants, the comics, the affects or the controversy.
